I also received valuable advice far developing into an employable Catholic school teacher as. well as methods of classroom teachings and incorporating Catholic values and Sacraments. ~ Writing and teaching lessons that were relevant and engaging with a year level I'd previously never worked with before was a challenge. That experience challenged my outlook on lesson plan writing and ensuring multiples styles of learning are incorporated into a lesson that covers core content. - Working in small groups with students that have learning difficulties was challenging, Through this experience | had to develop skills that engage each child individually and help students stay on task - however upon reflection this could have been more successful. = Twould love to further understand and research various methods of working with students that have learning difficulties. In order to gain understanding in how to engage students with varying needs and levels of ability whilst in the same learning group. ~ [need to explicitly ask an AT for advice when a challenge arises. As opposed to attempting to continue on my own I could seek the advice ofan experienced teacher. - Keeping comprehensive observation records can help me to clearly understand the learning needs of each student. - Participating in the life of the school further would help me to gain context of content I have learnt as well as build professional relationships.
