The Epidemiologic Triangle:

If an outbreak did occur I would try to disrupt the connections in the

triangle. To do this first I would separate the infected monkeys from the
healthy ones to break the connection from host to agent. I would also use
any medicine or vaccines to further hinder the connection to the host.
Though you cannot get rid of an environment but you can remove the agent
form it buy euthanizing the monkeys that were infected and place their
bodies in a freezer.
