1. Atal Pension Yojana (APY)

Objective: Atal Pension Yojana was launched by PM Narendra Modi on 9 th May
2015 in Kolkata. This scheme aims at providing old age pension to those 18
to 40 years citizens who are not covered under any other pension scheme. It
focusses on private unorganized sector and is open to all Indian Citizens.

Under this Scheme, person enrolled under this scheme have to contribute for
at least 20 years before he/she can get pension after 60 years. This scheme
provides monthly pension ranges from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000 depends on
contribution amount

2. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)


Launch Date: 25 June 2015
Official Website: www.mhupa.gov.in
Objective: Primary objective of this scheme is to provide housing for all by
2022, 2 crore in urban and 3 Crore in rural areas.
Under PMAY Central Government will provide financial assistance to the poor
homeless in the form of interest subsidy on home load or direct subsidy on
homes brought under this scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is designed to to be completed in three phases:
Phase 1: It covers selected 100 cities of the country from april 2015 to
March 2017
Phase 2: It covers selected 200 cities of India from April 2017 to March
2019
Phase 3: It covers all remaining cities of India from April 2019 to March
2022
