geometric pattern. Space trusses can be used to span large areas with few interior
supports.

4. Advantages and disadvantages of space trusses:

Advantages:
-Lightweight
-Stiffness
-Versatility
-Spans large distances without need for internal load bearing support
-Economical
-Carry load by three-dimensional action
-Easy to construct
-No site painting or welding

Disadvantages:
-Difficult to design
