To Whom It May Concern:

It was my pleasure to be Anthony Hodshires teacher at Western High

School. Over the past four years, I have had the opportunity to have
Anthony in two separate classes, Algebra 1 and Health. I am pleased to
highlight the positive qualities of this entertaining young man.

Anthony walked into the classroom ready to learn. He completed his

assignments and was honest if he was struggling or did not understand
something. He was not afraid to ask questions and make real-world
connections with the Algebra content. In Health, his junior year, Anthony
was able to be a leader throughout group discussions and also take the lead
on several group presentations. His open, honest, comical personality made
the classroom environment more safe, fun, and relaxing, especially during
uncomfortable material.

Additionally, Anthony has a creative, vibrant personality, which served him

very well in the theater program. Frequently, his talents also helped him in
the classroom setting. His ability to balance extra-curricular activities and
academics was admirable. Most importantly, Anthony has never been afraid
to be himself. He does not follow the crowd and has an amazing confidence,
which is rare for high school students. His influence at Western High School
has been evident.

Without a doubt, Anthony has an exciting future ahead of him. I look

forward to hearing about his success in the next chapter of his life.

All the Best,
