Suspense genre do not end in the same way

Dierent target audiences.

Disney do not make 100% miserable lms.
Recapture, restate or re-interpret the controlling idea.
Main idea
Main theme

It should not go against the controlling idea.

That would end up as contradiction.

Except it is related to the shift within the controlling idea
from the start.

Ex. Controlling idea: Blindly believing in justice an lead to evil.
The ending should clarify and answer all questions or
doubt in plot (or subplot).

B story Back story

Except it is intentionally made as an open ending or
the story is merely a part of bigger story. For series or
multiples arc?
Make sure to clear the inciting incident, others can be left
for the next part of the story. (and its good to add the
premise of the next inciting incident to create smooth
transition)

Ex. Star War VI: Luke set out the save the princess, he did
it by the end of the arc.
In which manner the character is going to lead the
story to the end?
What is the decision that main protagonist have to made to get to the ending?
How support character going to help him/her to reach the ending?

The choice that protagonist made in the climax must be

reasonable to his/her logic or personality.

The ending should be possible and reasonable in its own
world.
If the setting is a futuristic world relying in technology, fantasy
magic should not come out of nowhere to save the world.

No Deus ex machina
Do not make accident or coincidence the turning point at
the climax.

Ex. No stumbling on the rock then sword y to the demon
lords heart and kill him
