IhavebeenexploringtheCreepandShrinkagePropertiesin
ETABSforthis52storeybuildingfortheelasticshorteningof
thecolumns.Theelasticanalysisrunsfine.Noerrorson
standardsolver.TheAutoSequentialConstructionalsoruns
fine.HoweverwhenIruntheautosequentialwithCreepand
ShrinkageCEBFIP2010(MultiThreadedSolver),Ittakesa
reallylongtimetorun(70Hours+)andattheendofit,Iam
gettingrubbishresultsandthesolutionlooksunconverged.
Sofar,Ihavebeenusingthedirichletseriesapproximation
for5terms/Iamgoingtoattemptfullintegrationthis
weekendwhereIcanjustleaveitrunning.
Iwouldlovesomeinputfromanyonewhohasexploredthese
options,oranyadvicefromanyoneonthistopic.

MazKarimiIfapproximatemethodtakesthatlong,theintegrationmethodwill
probablytakewaymore.Myguessisthatthereisaninstabilityinthemodel.Iwouldtryto

simplifythemodelbyremovingpdelta,noautomeshoffloorsandwalls(physicalmesh

instead)andruntheelasticanalysisonthestandardsolvertoseeiftherearemajorerrors

reported.Ifstillnotabletofixtheissue,isuggesttomaketestfileofonly10floorsandstep

bystepincraesethemodelsizetoseewhyandwheretheanalysiscannotconverge.

ServetEREZ youcantrytoimportthemodelagain.Youknowwearetryingto
muchformodelinga50storybuildingsbyetabsprogram.Sosometimestheprogramhas

someerrors.Importingcansolvetheproblem.Alsoyoucancheckyourperiods.Ifthereare

bigperiodssoyouhaveinsteableelements.Trytogetthemcorrectly.Andhavebigsizeby

yourshellmeshes.Itwillgetfastlyyouranalizes. Showless
