Education is the most powerful weapon,

which you can use to change the world.
Nelson Mandela

I was born into a family of educators who

instilled in me a love of learning. I earned my
Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the
University of California Riverside and my
Masters degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from California State
University Dominguez Hills.
My passion is helping children achieve their unique greatness. My quest is to
design engaging and rigorous lessons that are accessible to a wide range of
learners, encouraging the development of confidence, independence and
critical thinking through the integration of all subjects.

Allowing students work at a pace that is most comfortable to them helps to

accommodate all learning styles. I love helping students gain independence
with their work.

I expect every scholar to arrive to school ready to learn, teach, collaborate

and have a teamwork mindset. Mistakes are welcomed in my classroom
because no one is perfect, I only require my students to learn and grow, from
their mistakes. I encourage questions, curiosity and challenges. Every
scholar must be ready for the leaning day with the necessary materials,
assignments, and a can-do attitude to have a successful day.

I aspire to create a community, and learning environment that is safe for all
students, and I expect every scholar to respect their peers, and staf
members and be responsible for their actions.

Lastly, I encourage parents/guardians to contact me with any questions,

comments or concerns, and in-class parent support is always welcomed in
my classroom with a proper two days notice.

My dream is to continue to share my passion for learning, and my

enthusiasm and dedication as a teacher. It is my pleasure to work with you
and your scholar this school year. I look forward to seeing all we can achieve
together.
