Completing my senior exit has affected me tremendously.

I have gained so much more

knowledge on the idea of free college tuition at public universities. Every Time I think of the

dreams that are shot down due to the financial burden of college it is very heart wrenching. I tend

to think of my intelligent classmates many that are immigrants who are knocked down everyday

b the higher education system. I do understand that there are pros and cons to making public

universities free but the pros outweighs the cons. Seeing that every American gets a shot is

crucial to all of America.

While completing my senior exit I had to come to terms with the fact that a lot of people dont

agree with me and that's okay. The topic of free college tuition has became a political issue but in

reality its an American issue, its bipartisan. College is a system that vividly divides affluent and

low income students. It goes so far that when it comes to internships there is still a divide

between the affluent and the poor. Several rigorous internships around the country dont offer

housing so only the affluent students can take advantage, this knocks the low income students

down from competing with their affluent peers and gives poor students gives less experience on

the workforce.

I am so proud of the amount of information and knowledge I have attained through my

research. Im impressed with the interesting facts I have came across. Minorities are going to

college more than ever beofre.
