Hi Team,
Just FYI, | can set up tiger VNC to listen only on localhost. But this multiple port issue ; due to that one of the port(the
server comes with helios..etc) listens on all available itnerfaces.
Best,
Madhuri

Hi Madhuri,
In 13.4, | see that the RealVNC Server setup step includes the line:
Select the checkbox for — Only accept connections on the local machine
However, this step is not needed to test the basic function of the TotalAccess Connection tunnel. In your new VNC
Setup steps, don’t worry about configuring server to listen only on localhost. We will handle the “loopback” mode as
part of the phase 2 development and testing.
You just need to make sure that VNC server is running and listening on port 5900, You already know how to do that.
Regards, Al

Hi Team,
Meeting Minutes: Date: March 14” 2012
Following items are part of Platform and out of agent DVP scope.
1) Vneserver already runs on boot somehow with ties at operating system level. And if start another server(tiger
vne server) it starts on multiple ports.. Meeting with Alar/Dipti/Prashanth decided to move this issue to
platform development scope and not agent DVP.
