Memories of Songkran

Im not much a fan of Songkran, so my answer would be no for joining the

festival. The reason is because I dont like to splash water on someone I dont
know or let them splash on me. Our country only has 2 season rain and hot,
during April it would be hot. Many people like to splash water on that day or hang
out with friends but mine one was something difference. On that day my family
will go to the temple to pray and for Thai people we have something called

which is my favorite part. It is when children pour water on their

parent feet, while doing that parent will bless them with kindness and saying
good things to each other. My good memory on this day is when I was in grade 5,

it was my first time doing the thing. I was really nervous and
excited but trying to be calm by not showing any face expression out in front of
my family. It was really nice because after that I felt like Ive receive the
forgiveness from my parent on whatever bad things Ive done to them.
