CPAP or UPPP?
Technically it recommends
both. But it does say that if
the CPAP machine is
insufficient, then UPPP is
recommended. I would think
that they are saying CPAP
was their first, but ultimately,
UPPP will work better than
CPAP.
CPAP
Why?
This article talks about how
the CPAP machine is a good
treatment that is usually
sufficient. But in some cases,
it isnt always sufficient and
that's when the use of the
UPPP surgical procedure will
out shine CPAP
In this journal, it was stated
that none of the research
conducted displayed benefits
if UPPP was conducted first.
But in other research, it was
found that some of the
participants of conducting the
surgery regretted it later.
Also, there is no permanent
benefit from the use of UPPP
and usually CPAP is used
after the procedure.
