To Whom It May Concern,

Rayford Cole is an asset in the classroom and will make a great

teacher. In his time as a cooperating teacher in a Math 8 inclusion classroom
he has shown tremendous growth as a potential teacher. He has as strong
mastery of content knowledge that he utilizes to explain difficult
mathematical concepts to students. He has built a strong rapport with the
students that allows him relate to them and convey information in a way that
is easy to understand.

Rayford only developed two lessons while working in my classroom,

but both of them were well thought out and ran smoothly. He was able to
use gradual release to guide the students in their learning. He is able to
move around the classroom and provide feedback, and use that feedback to
guide his instruction.

Mr. Cole takes constructive criticism well and uses it to improve his
practice. He was able to communicate and collaborate with me as a
cooperating teacher, asking pertinent questions and providing ideas for
instruction. As he continues to grow and learn as an educator I have no
doubt he will bud into a fine teacher.
