Poetry Journal

After finishing our poetry unit, we were expected to compile all of our poems we had

created throughout the unit into one poetry journal. I had used my Slam Poem, my Simile and

Metaphor poem, my Where I am From Poem, and my Imagery poem. My imagery poem was

describing an elephant describing its massive size, its trunk, and its large ears. My Where I am

From talked about my favorite foods, my hobbies, and my tradition. My Simile and Metaphor

poem was describing the horror of pollution using birds. Last, my Slam Poem talked about how

the world has changed for the worse. Overall on my Poetry Journal I received a score of 22/25.
