Ehsan is a Teaching Fellow and Research Scholar at the Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship Group, Aston Business School, with multi-disciplinary teaching and research experiences. Ehsan's teaching covers topics such as Emerging and Transitional Economies, Business Environment, Strategic Aspects of organisational Performance, and has received the Astonishing Academic Award for excellence in teaching and supporting student learning, as voted for by students. His research interests lie in the field of economics of Innovation and growth strategies for SMEs. His current research focuses on understanding how SMEs` open innovation and intellectual capital management practices differ from one another and what this means for knowledge ecosystem design. Ehsan is fellow of the united kingdom higher education academy.
