In class essay Revision Reflection 05/27/17

Having to write an expository essay in class challenged me to apply what I have learned in class

into an essay that had to be written in a short amount of time. This gave me the opportunity to

find out where I need to improve when writing and essay. I have learned that I need to organize

my paragraphs to make better sense of where one ends and one begins, as well as working more

on my grammar so it can be more clear in were a sentence ends. Having to revise my essay

showed me how to develop and organized better paragraphs and add more to them since I found

myself being self-repetitive with some phrases in which it did not give a clear point to the reader.

I was also able to improve on what needed improvement based on the feedback that I received

from Proffesor Batty I added more information on the second and third paragraph to give more

information and expand my paragraphs. I am satisfied with the passing grade that I received,

however I feel that I could have done a better job when writing my essay if I had the opportunity

to have done more research on the topic of the essay to better understand it. In order to have a

better approach in developing my opinions. Because of this experience I believe that I will be

able to do better on my next writing exam if I continue to work on improving myself and work

on my weaknesses.
