I am currently a 9th grade student at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, CA. I am in the
AVID program at our school. AVID is a course that is preparing me for the rigors of college and
helping me identify possible colleges, I would be interested in attending. After researching
Louisiana State University, I am considering attending your university when I graduate from
high school.

I would like to pursue a career in Kinesiology and would like any information you have on
majors related to that career. I would also like to receive financial aid information, information
on admission requirements, a poster or pennant, and a t shirt or any other information that might
help me make a decision to attend your university and to help promote your campus on our high
school campus.

I am currently playing softball at my high school right now on the Junior Varsity team. I am
looking forward to playing softball at a university level and I am interested in your program. I
have been following your team for several years and I hope to get in a program as good as yours.
