Students will be given continuous feedback on their progress throughout the semester in the tutorial
sessions and through tutorial quizzes. In addition, students will be graded on both individual
attendance and participation during the tutorials, as well as on their performance during the final
exam. Students are strongly encouraged to devote regular study time to this course. In addition to
reviewing lecture and tutorial materials and set readings, students may use the Peer Assisted
Support Scheme (PASS). For details, see Section 5 Student Resources.

Students are also reminded that careful time management is an important part of study and one of
the identified causes of plagiarism is poor time management. Students should allow sufficient time
for research, drafting, and the proper referencing of sources in preparing all assessment items.
