Comments: Elizabeth, you chose a fantastic mural for your assignment and make great use of the
statistical support that comes with sex trafficking. You made meaning from the mural in addition
to looking further than yourself to find out what the artists intentions were. I think your thesis
could spell out a little more what the argument of this mural is. Is it simply to tell the story of this
girl, or does it seek to change something? In all, this is a great essay, and it can be improved in
small ways in terms of the formatting. I look forward to seeing how it transforms when it is
revised and resubmitted for the portfolio.
