Characters:
Oliver Tusk A hunting tourist
Lola Jackson Oliver Tusk's long-time girl-friend
Freddy Miller a friend of the couple

Setting the Stage:

The dead body of Oliver Tusk is found at the bottom of a cliff. He is clothed in heavy
hiking boots, mitts, several light jackets and thick woolen trousers. His long time girl-
friend Lola Jackson is found dead shortly afterwards at the camp. Her head has been
smashed in with a heavy object.

Freddy Miller recounts:

I returned to camp early to make dinner for the hunting party when I saw Oliver and
Lola arguing. They had been dating for several years but frequently argued and held
heated discussions. I didn't want to intrude, so I hid behind a tree. Suddenly Oliver
picked up a rock and smashed it against Lola's head. She went down like a rag doll. I
think she was dead instantly. Oliver turned around and must have spotted me behind
the tree for he took off at a run. He must have forgotten about the cliff and fallen off
in his flight.

The crucial clue:

When the CSI lab checked the rock that supposedly killed Lola, it found Oliver's finger
prints on it.
