North Korean Murder

By: Soren Dobbins

Kim-Jong Nam was in an airport in Malaysia, on February 14th, when he was

assassinated. A stranger approached him and splashed a liquid on his face that was

presumed to be a poison. The attacker then left him there. Kim-Jong Nam soon asked

for help and was immediately sent to the airport clinic. He then died en route to

Putrajaya hospital. Four people have been arrested for possible involvement. An

autopsy was performed, but was inconclusive. There is a legal fight over his body

between North Korea and Malaysia.

Kim-Jong Nam was Kim-Jong Uns brother. Kim-Jong Nam has done a lot of

foreign studies, and because of this his view of the world changed and his ideals

changed to make him think like a more liberal capitalist, believing in things like

democracy. Kim-Jong-Il, his father, decided that because of Kim-Jong Nams altered

vision he would not be a fit ruler of North Korea, so he waited for Kim-Jong Nam to

screw up. Kim-Jong Nam was still the heir to the heir to North Korea despite this.

However, he was caught in Japan with a fake passport during 2001. Because of this, he

then fell out of favor for the Crown and Kim-Jong Un came into favor. Kim-Jong Nam

since then has not spent much time in Korea. He was supposedly fearful of his brother,

who have assassinated other family members.

The Indonesian who sprayed the poison in Kim-Jong Nams face was seen on a

security camera. Indonesian security officials claim that she was tricked into delivering

the poison by being told she was on a prank show. The Vietnamese woman who tricked
her, who is currently also arrested, was caught on security cameras wearing a LOL

shirt. There was also a North Korean man who may have been involved. He was caught

and arrested.
