Semester 2 Reading Reflection

For this semesters reading I was able to somewhat keep up with the 100 pages per

week or two hours of reading. The first few months of the semester it was a bit hard to keep up

with the goal of two hours because sometimes I would forget to read unless I looked at my

agenda where I had written it down. Starting in March when we began reading 1984 it was

easier to keep track of my reading and pace because since it was an assigned book I was able

to finish it on time and track the hours that it took me to read it. From the end of April to May I

wasnt reading as much as I was supposed to.

I was procrastinating on reading and on updating it on the reading log. There were some

weeks where I would read but I would just forget to add it on the reading log. Aside from the

assigned book of 1984 the books that Ive been reading this semester were a bit of sci-fi books,

some nonfiction books based on true stories or cases, and not that much of fiction. I bought two

new books and I plan on reading them and adding more on my list to read over the summer. Im

still going to try to read memoirs and more nonfiction just because in college I might not even

have time to read something fictional or dystopian. But Ill try and squeeze in my favorite genres

as well.
