Reaction paper:
Jan 12, 2017- My first day of teaching was ok. Although I didnt know how Kodaly totally
works and how spontaneous it should be, my interaction with the students was good for me.
The students were responsive and cooperative to the lesson and activities.
Jan 19, 2017- Im starting to get the concept of Kodaly method. Its very spontaneous and I
started learning about RPR.
Jan 26, 2107- Reaction: It was my first time doing an activity sheet for the students. I was starting to grasp the
concept of Kodaly but still struggling with the process.
Feb 2, 2017- It was my first demo teaching. I started incorporating other lessons to my teaching like lessons about
loving animals, our neighbors and our parents.
Feb 9, 2017- By Feb 9, im getting comfortable teaching to the students. I felt like they were interested to what I was
teaching and they are starting to respect my authority as their teacher.
Feb 16, 2017- In-tune was a bit hard for me that day for I had a cold but luckily the students were still responsive and
they did the activities well.
Feb 23, 2017- I started preparing the students for Pentatone. I stopped using notes for my class. I started becoming
aware of the flow of the lesson.
March 1, 2017- I prepared the students for my final demo. I taught most the class how to play blue bells on the kayu
and presented do pentatone to them.
