Ashley built an excellent rapport with, both of my classes but especially with the Special Ed students. She helped to modify work or make accommodations according to the student's IEP, Jam a Third grade teacher who teaches two sections of Math, Science, and Social Studies. Ashley taught mostly Math, Science, and Social Studies but she taught a Language Arts unit with my teaching partner for her TPA project at Miami University. Ashley was always willing to try new things whether it was teaching Science lessons from Picture Perfect Science or Math lessons from Marilyn Burns using children’s literature. She integrated technology into her lessons by using a classroom set of iPads, a docurnent camera, a 3M projector, and Dell computers in the computer lab. Ashley's passion for teaching is evident, She searched for engaging lessons that aligned with the new Common Core curriculum for Third Grade.
