Thank you for taking the time and consideration to read my resume and this letter as
well. Experience is an important part for any job position, with my past experience and
skills obtained I hope I can incorporate them in different ways and also gain knowledge
with this position.

In my junior year of high school, I was given the assignment to make a grammar book.
This was a semester long project that had several deadlines, which many students
could not meet. Time management was an important key during this semester, as I was
also preparing for the Rose Parade in the All District Honor Band. I had to make sure I
was turning all my assignments on time for this project while having long practices.
Although this project required many late nights, sacrifices, and exceptional time
management skills, I was able to overcome those obstacles and present my book,
Grammar Book: With Mickey and Friends! at the Annual Book Fair. My published book
is still recognized among students at Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School.

Besides writing a grammar book, I also conducted a research study on a controversial

topic: Physician-Assisted Suicide. This study required me to perfect my organization
skills, as I held surveys and had a variety of data to read through. After a semester long
of researching both sides of this topic, I was able to participate and display my work at
Bravos 12th Annual Research Convention. This project also required researchers to
present their findings in a 15 minute presentation in front of fellow colleagues and other
researchers to educate them.
