Tales of Edelweiss

The beginning

Chapter 1
Introduce the characters, introduce the setting, introduce the mood.

Our main characters are Emil, Tie, and linear. The setting of this world is
Evolution meets tales of symphonia meets ergo proxy. The mood of the story is that
of mystery and suspense.

Emil is a guardian, an immortal one, with dark and light powers. But cant use those
powers and doesnt know his true nature or purpose in the lands of Altimeer. He
starts his adventure knowing little about his parents and knowing little about his
current care givers and knowing little about the world in general.
Tie is a shapeless, a human that can change into other people and can learn about
those people by transforming into them. Tie is a childhood friend of Emil and goes
on all Emils adventures, mostly helping Emil get out of trouble. He is mischievious
but loyal and well spoken. Parents are very important people and are never really
around to take care of tie.
Linear is the true key to this story for she is actually not human, but an ancient
princess of a wise and powerful society of Half-angels that were destroyed many
many years before this story takes place. Her powers are saught by powerful
individuals who dont realize the ancient weapon they seek is actually a living being.
She meets Emil at a young age and is like his sister in this story, occasionally going
on his adventures but ultimately doesnt wish for such things. It is only until Emils
home burns down and his neighbors turn on him that linear ultimately joins him on
his quest to find his parents.

The story starts at an ancient ruin near Emils house that he had discovered. With
him was linear and tie in full adventure equipment called kyaframes or ancient
battle suits they scoured the dungeonesk ruin for treasures and secrets.
