Dear Net Aid,

I am Periasamy Koothrappali. I work in a Brick factory in Tamil Nadu.

My mother works in the factory next to me making matches. I have a
grandmother and an old bus ticket that I never use and probably will
never use.

I was delighted that when I woke up, the sun came up like usual. My
grandmother was waving a small white envelope. I could barely see- it
was too dark but she told me in the light of a small candle, You can
go to school. I ran around grandma. I was so happy I have the
chance to go to school .

Thank you for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. I have been

abundantly blessed by your dearly noted action.

I hated not having a dad because in the factory the bigger children
would push me around and say,
, . Where's your dad mommas
boy. Run away again. A yeah, I forgot you don't have a dad. I hated it
when they threw clay at me one time. When I was asleep they nearly
threw me into the kiln. I got disabled by working in the brick factory. I
remembered the red flame that burned my rough skin and the flashing
lights. My life flashed before my eyes. But instead of giving up on me,
you gave me the opportunity to go back to school. When my
grandmother broke her back, you also gave me the chance to go back
to school.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. I have been

abundantly blessed by your action.

Sincerely,
Periasamy
