turbinaydeterminacomosalidalosparmetrosdeoperacindela
turbina como son: eficiencia trmica, Heat Rate (HR) y potencia
especificaademsdelastemperaturasdeoperacinencadapunto
que se determinan por relaciones isentrpicas en compresor y
turbina y en combustin por la temperatura de llama adiabtica.
Estemodelofuevalidadoconlosdatosdelaturbinaencampoen
la regin de Casanare y permite a la empresa si lo adopta sin
costos de licencia de software, el clculo de parmetros de
operacinentiemporealparadefinirpuntosdeoperacinatpicos
en el futuro con miras a un mantenimiento predictivo, as como
determinar la sensibilidad de la turbina a las caractersticas del
combustibleylavariacindelascondicionesatmosfricasdurante
elda.

Abstract
Keywords This paper makes the thermal analysis of a general gas turbine,
however has been applied to a General Electric Model turbine
Braytoncycle MS5001P.Thermalanalysisismadethroughamathematicalmodel
gasturbine and calculated on an algorithm in C language for use in free
thermalefficiency software,thealgorithmcanincorporateasinput:theamountofgas
used during the day and the compression ratio of work and
determinesasoutputturbineoperatingparameterslikeare:thermal
efficiency, Heat Rate (HR) and specific power in addition to
operatingtemperaturesateachpointaredeterminedbyisentropic
relations in compressor and turbine and in the combustion for the
adiabatic flame temperature. This model was validated with data
from the turbine in field in the Casanare region and allows to the
companyifittakeswithoutcostofsoftwarelicense,thecalculation
of operating parameters in real time to identify a typical points in
the future operation towards predictive maintenance, and to
determinethesensibilityofturbinefuelcharacteristicsandchanges
inatmosphericconditionsduringtheday.
