The summer I decided to so do something in my community. My church focuses on the

youth as there important base and the future of the church . When summer began I released my
church didn't have something planned to for the kid that summer. So began thinking of things
and fun activities to do I decided to make a one week program for the kids. I called Vacation
Bible School. (VBS) I made it one week 9am - 1pm. With this program I had volteer help me
with it and we had fun activities for the kids to do.
In the program we went over problems going on in real life . How to face problems and
getting closer to God as a christian. Things I struggled with this project is finding a problem and
solution. AsI reflected on this I found the problem and siltation. Talking to our youth is a very
important thing. Talking bout situation that are happening around us is very important to talk
about. Because our youth/ kids are very important for our future.
What I accomplish is educating a group of kids in my community on life skills. This made
me learning a lot about how educating kids about topics in life can make them better and aware
of situation in life. One of the habits of mind i used was uperstanderness as an example to help
the kids know they diffrence between a kind gesture and going what you know is right.
