1. CHRISTINA Is a main character that does not care about the advice of
her parents as a result she get pregnancy at the university.

2. SHILLA Is a university student who is a womanizer, who

approaches various ladies at the university. He Impregnates
Christina and denies her. He also convinced his friend
Daud to behave like him.

3. PIETHA Is a university student who persuades Christina to engage

in love affairs with shilla.
4. DAUDI Is a shillas friend who is persuaded by his friend Shilla to
engage in love affairs but he refuses.

resulted to the death of Christina.

perform abortion but he refuses due to corruption.

daughter should not perform abortion ,her friend agreed but
later on she changes her mind for the fear of her husband
that when he will discover about their daughter to have
pregnancy it will be another case ,as she decided to make
abortion to her daughter.
17. MAGRETH Is a daughter of Stumahi and George .She follows the
advice of her parents ,also she advices Christina to stop bad
behaviors ,to stay away from bad companies (peer
groups),and by then to remember the advice from her
parents.
18. JUMANNE Is a director who explains the development of the drama
from one stage to the next one.

Act one:

AT THE CHURCH

Hebrews, chapter 11:1

now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen

Pastor preaches at the church to his followers on the question of behaving in a good manner and
avoids bad conduct ..(He preaches to the parents and their children)

In this case, pastor insists to the people to avoid bad conducts such as prostitution, alcoholism,
disobedience to the parents. Then Didga and Elias advices their children to be very careful at
university ,then Kalitas and Christina seems to accept the advice of their parents and made a
promise to their parents that they will behave in a good manner at university.

Act two:

LIFE AT THE UNIVERSITY

When Kalitasi and Christina arrives at the university, they tend to obey the advices of
their parents but as the days goes on, Christina engages in a bad company because of the
influence of her friend called Pietha who convinced her to engage in love affairs with
Shilla .At the university, Kalitasi used to remind his sister Christina about the advice they
got from their parents before joining university, but Christina does not care about that.
Christina spends much time attending night clubs, she does not attend class lessons, and
she does not about religious teachings from the pastor.
On the other hand ,Magreth as a university students ,behaves in a good manner since she
obeys the advice she got from the her parents as she used to attend the class sessions, also
she has a good company of friends ie.she stays away from bad peer groups.
Due to poor performance of Christina, the course constructor decided to call her and in
order to know the reasons for her failure and then they advice her to attend all class
 sessions and spend much time in studying rather than spending her whole time on
unnecessary issues. They also advices advices her to stay away from peer groups.
Apart from these devices from the course instructor, her brother and her parents seem to
ignore as a result of her to get pregnant and keep it as her own secrets.

Act three

DURING THE HOLY DAY

During holyday, Christina and her brother go back to Mtakuja village to their parents for
a short break holyday
After few days, Christinas mother suspects her daughter to have pregnancy and
decide to ask her to prove she real has a pregnant or not, but Christina denies and
her mother decided to take her to the hospital for check up. Then after checkup,
doctor discovers that Christina is already pregnant and also is a HIV positive.
When they turn back home, Christinas mother asks advice on the pregnancy and
HIV of her daughter to her friend Ndayilagije, ndayilagije advices her to take her
daughter to the hospital for, more instruction from doctor. In this case, Ndayilagije
goes together with Christinas mother to the hospital. When they arrived to the
hospital Christinas mother advices her friend to conduct abortion but her friend
Ndayilagije refuses since she know that by doing so is against the governments
law but also it cause death of her daughter since because is too risk.
Also nurse advices doctor not to conduct abortion to Christina but doctor refuses
and he aborted Christina secretly because of bribe given to Christinas mother for
helping her daughter to abort.
When doctor conducted abortion to Christina, soon the patient loose her life
because of high blood flow and painful she got when she conducted abortion.

VIRTUES
Neighborhoods; we see Ndayilagije advising Christinas mother not to
conduct abortion to her daughter because is too risk to her daughter and
further more it is a criminal offence
Responsibility; in this drama nurse (Veronica)advices the doctor not to
conduct abortion ,also the course instructor advices Christina to stay away
from bad peer groups and attend class lessons and to spend much time to
her studies.
Importance of education; in our education is very important in order to
ensure mental decolonization our drama ,this seen when parents
mobilizing their children to fight for education for example Elias and his
wife Digna advices their children to behave in a good manner and respect
their teachers since education is a key to success
 Faith in God ; is a very important to follow religious teachings and
believing in God because in him everything is possible,forexample in our
drama we see pastor preaching to the mass about super sense(faith) i.e.;
Christina loose her future dreams as a results of ignoring religious
teachings.
