Future Scope:

The project deals with the development of automatic retraction system for physically disabled. The
system automatically retracts the wheels form the ground after the certain speed has been achieved.
This is done using the infrared sensor for measurement of RPM of the machine which is fabricated. This
no doubt forms the solution to the problems faced by the physically handicapped people, which inturn
helps in reducing the wear and tear of extra tyres and also the fuel economy. However this project has
wide scope for future research which is documented below.

The project can be implemented with electronic gyroscope, which would self balance the vehicle thus
eliminating the need for supportive wheels and thus forms an advanced level technology. The gyroscope
unit consists of an accelerometer along with gyroscope which measures forces acting in various
directions. Thus this project can form a base for implementing further improvisations for physically
disabled people.
