We go by boat,

This trip will probably go into my portfolio.
my short diary
Wednesday 20 april,
I had to get out of bed early while being very excited. I got in the bus and sat next to my
friend Lago. It was a long ride but we entertained ourselves with games and chess.we
arrived at the port of Calais, we had to go through customs and we got onto the boat. This
was my first time on a ferry, It was a bit of getting used to the movements at first but
luckily I got used to it quickly. When we arrived at Dover we had to go in the bus once
again. we stopped by the white cliffs and we took a walk there.

Then we got back in the bus and drove to canterbury, we got a couple of hours to walk
around there and then we went to westgate-on-sea and met our host family.

Thursday 21 april,
We woke up and went to the bus after a delicious breakfast, we drove to Canterbury and
had 10 minutes to walk around. after that we went to the cathedral, it was beautiful, even
though it was under construction. We had a tour there for a hour or so and then we had
more time to spend in Canterbury! After that we went to the host family and spent the
night there.

Friday 22 april,
This was the day to go back home, we said goodbye to the host family and we went to
Dover castle, It was beautiful yet again. We walked around taking pictures for about 2
hours and then we went to Canterbury for 1 last time. I bought a little bear as a souvenir
for us at home. Then we had the same trip back, again sitting next to Lago. We watched a
couple of films in the bus and then we arrived in weert and everyone went home.
