"The Religious Reality and the Trends Until the ends of the
Ottoman Empire"
Lect. Dr. Kareem Murad Aati
College of Education for human sciences / Baghdad University
Abstract
The religious factor (Islam) is concerned the state the will of the
main trend op the state. It was the main factor in the expansion of the
state. We can say that it is impossible to interpret the events and the
historical development o thematic basis.
It is natural that the state was military linked to the idea of jihad.
It was founded as a border emirate until it reached the statue of an
international state. The sectarian basis, on which it has based, was
only a tool which it had employed to build its state whether in the
Islamic East or ion the Christian West. The Islamic rules and concepts
which appeared in the state was only a balance between it and the
Ottoman state. That had a reflection on the Ottoman states on the
internal and external reflections and the organization of the
administrative structure, which it made use of in achieving various
ends and adding a religious tincture on it.
The research is subdivided into two inquiries; the first inquiry
tackled the religious factor and its impact on the movement of the
conquests and expansions. The second inquiry tackled the forms and
the concepts of Islam and the intellectual tendencies.
