Introduction

This Add-on provides the jewelers a facility to maintain and bill their invoice as per their requirement.
It fulfills the requirements of a jewelers business such as: maintaining ornament details, Gold rate details. It
also handles the functionality of polishing, Labor (karigar) etc.

Important!
As a best practice it is advisable to take back up your company data
before installing the Add-on

Setup Guide

1. Activate the Add-on

For Tally.ERP 9 Series A version lower than Release 3.2

Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Accounting Features
Set Yes to the options Enable Tally.ERP 9 Jewellers Sales Invoice Format

For Tally.ERP 9 Series A Release 3.2 and above

Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Add-on Features
Set Yes to the options Enable Tally.ERP 9 Jewellers Sales Invoice Format

2. Create stock groups for ornaments as below:

3. Enter Carat and purity details for the group in the next screen:

4. Go to Sales Invoice (the format is changed for jewellery):

5. Enter details like gold rate and proceed to items:

 6. Select items from the Gold ornaments group i.e. ring, tops, necklace etc. and enter details as below:

Notes: -

 Rate is auto calculated depending on todays gold rate and Carat purity details.
Total weight is Quantity + Polish, on which the amount is to be calculated.

 7. Save the screen and enter other details:

Note:
For stock items other than Gold ornaments, all other fields can be skipped except labour, which is to
be calculated for each item
Labour is auto summed and set to amount, when you select a ledger with Labour in its name as
above

8. Save the voucher and press Alt + P to print the invoice in invoice format, as below:

Which version/releases of Tally.ERP 9 does the add-on support?
This add-on will work only with Tally.ERP 9 Series A, release 3.0 onwards.
