    This article examines drug information activity and nonprescription medication requests at pharmacies in Malaysia. The authors conducted a study where they interviewed pharmacy staff and customers at 30 pharmacies across Malaysia. They found that most pharmacy customers asked about minor health issues and requested nonprescription medications like pain relievers, cough and cold medicines, and antacids. However, pharmacy staff often lacked adequate training to properly advise customers on appropriate nonprescription medications.
