SPINNIN RECORDS

Is a Dutch independent record label, founded in 1999 by


Eelko van Kooten and Roger de Graaf.

Spinnin Records hosts sub labels including Doorn Records


(run by Sander van Doorn), Heldeep Records (run by Oliver
Heldens), Musical Freedom (run by Tisto), Maxximize Records (run by
Blasterjaxx), and Hexagon (run by Don Diablo), all focusing on various
sorts of dance and electronic music.

Spinnin Records is currently recognised as the leading dance label in the


world serving both the commercial and underground market

An advantage would be that it is well known and therefore those fond of


the genre are bound to here about this record label before any other.

A disadvantage is that there are plenty of alternative labels that people


are likely to come across but in a way this is also could be an advantage
seen as the majority of the other labels based around the genre are
hosted by Spinnin Records

The purpose of Spinnin Records is not only to entertain people but also
to turn those with musical talent into superstar DJs

Spinnin Records is currently recognised as the leading dance label in the


world serving both the commercial and underground market. In the
Netherlands, Spinnin Records is responsible for the majority of dance
music broadcasted on both radio and TV. Some of the most important
releases include robin Ss Show me love 2008 which topped the Dutch
charts at the 1 position for two weeks, Yolanda Be Cool vs. D-Cups we
no speak Americano that topped that same chart in 2010 for seven
weeks.
