Title: Geography

Content Knowledge - Objective: How does the geography and

climate of Japan influence how the people of Japan live?

After completing a scavenger hunt as a flipped lesson, students

will take the information they learned about Japans geography
and climate and create a PowToon in groups sharing their
knowledge.

Students will use a variety of intellectual skills to demonstrate their understanding of the geography of the

create a presentation that demonstrates their understanding of

The teacher will use links to create a scavenger hunt for students to
learn about the geography and climate of Japan.

it influences us. The teacher will then introduce Japan and explain
the flipped lesson on Japans geography and climate.

they will research and answer questions about Japans geography
and climate.
Students will work in groups to discuss what they learned from
the scavenger hunt, and create a PowToon presentation to
demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
