Dear Dr. So-and-So,

I will be graduating from Lane Community College in June 2017 with an Associate of
Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. I am actively pursuing employment in
Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana and will soon be available for
a full-time, part-time or fill-in hygiene position. I am also considering employment as a
dental assistant, if there is an opportunity for me to move into a more permanent
hygiene position.

During my last two years at the Lewis Clark State College branch of Lane Community
College, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge, which allows me to provide the
best quality of care available to my patients while maintaining a positive and
encouraging atmosphere. This, combined with my background and experience in dental
assisting, will help me be a team player and contribute to building your practice into the
best it can be.
