Dear Elementary Principal,

My goal is to teach grades Pre-K 5th in an educational setting. I recently graduated from Tarleton
State University's TMATE certification program and considered highly qualified as an EC-6 generalist
teacher with ESL.

Although I have been successful in my first year as a Pre-K teacher, the aspects of my work I find most
rewarding are all in working with students and families in the community. My experience working with
families will help create an effective partnership to support the students academic growth and progress
and increase parent involvement in the school. I am inspired and motivated to create a safe and
purposeful classroom environment to help students become actively involved and feel valued as a
member through cooperative learning and hands-on instruction in large and small groups.

In addition, the district will gain a teacher who is excited to become more a part of the school district. I
believe my experiences and track record make me an excellent fit for a teaching position and look
forward to the opportunity to share my passion for education with you in person at a convenient time.
