TEST PREP APP LAUNCHED FOR DENTISTRY APPLICANTS
A test preparation tool for
university applicants hoping
to secure places on dental and
medical degree programmes
has been developed by Pear-
son VUE on behalf of the UK
Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT)
Consortium.
The Official UKCAT Prac-
tice App enables applicants
to test on-the-go. It includes
new questions, adapted for
mobile, on the verbal reason-
ing, quantitative reasoning,
abstract reasoning, decision
analysis and situational judge-
ment subtests. At the end of
each practice session, candi-
dates can review their answers
and a rationale explaining the
correct response. Candidates
are also scored and can shared
their results via social net-
working.
The app can be used in addi-
tion to the fully timed practice
tests on the UKCAT website
(ukcat.ac.uk). The app is avail-
able from the Apple Store and
on Android devices.
