Introduction

Branding is the addition of the factors like good, bad and off-strategy of any products. A
branding defines the best and worst of a product. It gives a clear idea about its content, brief
feelings and also images, branding is an approach to the people to hold in their minds so that
in their stay everlastingly. (Emmanuel K. Dogbevi, 2009)

Company example for good branding

Coca Cola is one among the leading brands. Because of the reinventing its brand
continuously it has been successfully running since eight year and might go further many
years. The company’s innovations, setting schedule and restlessness are for the safety
measures for the future earnings. (Emmanuel K. Dogbevi, 2009)

Company example for bad branding

Mc Donald has failed in branding. In the recent years the Mc Donald has many problems in
marketing conventional, because of its failure in inspiring the customers with new products.
McLean Deluxe and Mc Soup are two of them but it’s has tasted bitter because of the Arch
Deluxe burger flop. (David Leonhardt, 1998)

Analysis and Justification

It has marketed the burger with a tag line “Burger with Grown-up Taste” that is not for the
children. No one goes for sophistication but for convenience to McDonald which is minimum
expectation of customers. In a research it was resultant that most the people are interested
having the burger specially designed for adults but it was unfortunate that it was short
supplied to the people at the time of launching product finally. (David Leonhardt, 1998)
The innovative in advertising in brand made the coca cola company to be success in
branding. It had always known the pulse of the customers. The strength of the brand mark
was the belief of the customer on the company which made the branding success.
(Marketing91.com, 2010)

Comparison

The Mac Donald’s when launched the Arch Deluxe but has failed in marketing as unfortunate
that it was short supplied to the people at the time of launching product finally. Even thought
the Mc Donald has made the enormous scale with its brand was failed because it has not
being touch with customers and had lacked behind in the market. In a research it was
resultant that most the people are interested having the burger specially designed for adult.
The coca cola has always has been innovative in promoting a new product using its branding
popularity in the people. The company’s innovations, setting schedule and restlessness are the
security measures for the future earnings. (David Leonhardt, 1998)

Therefore any company has to be acquainted with the brand potency depends on how much
customer belief on company which is very much indispensable for the success of brand which
lead to be accomplish the success in this sophisticated marketing.

Suggestions on Company Website:

The visual branding of the world wide companies must be much innovative than any other.
The company website of McDonald is stunning but it can be made more attractive by using
the slide shows at the home page. The font size of the brand is very small increase the font
size and its tag line which everyone can connect with. Mc Donald has a cartoon “a man with
laughing face” which represents the Mc Donald which most of the customers is fond of; the
site would be eye-catching if it can include that cartoon in the website.
