Odisha Livelihoods Mission Received awards for the best performance

in the country for the implementation of flagship Rural development


programme for Livelihoods and skill development
New Delhi 19/6/2017: Odisha received the award of best performing state in
DDU-GKY, a flagship skill development programme of MoRD, DAY-NRLM under
the category of vulnerability reduction and best implementation of PMAY-G. In a
special programme organized in Vigyan Bhavan, Secretary-cum-
Commissioner, Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water,
Government of Odisha Shri D.K. Singh, IAS, received the award on behalf
of the state Odisha along with SMD, Odisha Livelihoods Mission, Shri
Pranabjyoti Nath, IAS and ED, ORMAS, Shri B.N. Das were present on the occasion
to receive the award from honorable Minister, MoRD Shri Narendra Singh Tomar,
Minister of State, Sri Ramkripal Yadav and Secretary Shri Amarjit Sinha. Among
others, Mr. Sisir Kumar Pradhan, Mrs. Babita Mohapatra and Mrs. Sikha
Mishra were present on the occasion. The award was given for excellent
performance in Dindayal Antyodaya Yojana under NRLM and
Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana in rural areas. For that, nine operating districts
and some blocks of the state are also recognized at the national level.
