ThisweekinHandwriting/CreativeWriting,studentscontinuedto
carefullypracticetheirlowercaselettersusingtheirverybest
handwriting.WecontinuedourLetterStoriestopracticewriting
sometrickylowercaseletters,andwecontinuedtolearnabout
MagicCletters.Studentsalsocontinuedparticipatinginsomeshort
creativewritingactivities,likereadingabookandrespondingtothe
bookinacreativewayandrespondingtocreativewritingprompts.
Theyalsocontinuedworkingonfinemotoractivitieslikedrawing,
tracing,cutting,andmakingpipecleanerletters!

We have done the following activities:


-Writing journals
-Sentence trace, write, cut, and sorts
-Magic c
-Letter stories
-Practicing lowercase letters & circling our best ones
-Using hi-light paper to practice careful handwriting
-Reading stories like A Bad Case of Stripes, The Dot, and Me and
My Cat? And responding to them through writing prompts &
drawing
-Go Noodle Brain Break activities
-Responding to creative writing prompts
