Responsibilities

Development and implementation of test systems required for validation. This will
include both electrical test set-up design as well as writing software (LabVIEW,
C#)
Work closely with design team to interpret and understand product quality
specifications and requirements.
Generate the test plan.
Develop new test hardware and software to increase test coverage and decrease test
time
Lead the test automation process.
Provide and drive validation and debug requirements and improvement of validation
methodologies.
Make recommendation to the team on product design quality related issues.
Execute system, Firmware & Hardware level validation
Interface with other team members & design engineers to create and improve system
testability

Qualification

Bachelors/Masters in Computers/ Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.


Mechatronics background is highly preferred.
Total 7+ yrs experience with 4-5 years experience in a validation role

Required Skills:

Experience in designing and analyzing simple to moderately complex systems


(firmware + hardware) for validation
Must have firmware development experience
Experience in working with various DAQ and Instruments (Agilent, Adventech,
National Instrument, etc)
Familiar with Motor Control Circuits & Encoders, Embedded Systems, Temperature
Controls Circuits, etc Spectrum Analyzer
Microsoft Visual C#.net, Micro-controller Programming, LabVIEW
Experience in Safety and EMC for UL/IEC Certification process is preferred
Expert at using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DC
electronic loads and waveform generators and understand the limitations of such
equipment
Able to successfully work on many projects at the same time under tight product
development schedules
Must be a problem solver.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Must possess a positive and "can do" attitude.
