The article by Joshua Becker talks about the steps needed to take in order to achieve

financial freedom. He mentions that he has a finance degree, yet still has still struggled with

finances living pay check to pay check. He began researching and searching for help and

answers. The most common being, spend less, save more. He chose to own less and spend less

and states its what of the best decisions he has made. He now only buys things he absolutely

needs instead of everything he wants.

I learned that living within your means is one of the most important thing one can do on

the road to financial independence. The article states more than half the country lives pay check

to pay check which was surprising at first, but I realized I know plenty of people in that exact

situation. This is relevant to my topic because it touches upon a method to become finically

sound, trying to eliminate money worries.

I know this source is credible because it was posted on Forbes, a major publication for

finance and business related topics and one of the leaders in the industry for that matter. The

author of the article Joshua Becker is also a credible source, as he runs a website that reaches

over a million people each month which inspires people about living with less. His writings have
