‘Noe is an intelligent young man, when first approached he will have minimal eye contact
and socialization. However once is engage in conversation he will show unique intelligence
towards subjects relating social studies and science. Born on the 24" of December Noe pays no
attention to Christmas or any holiday. His family studies with the Jchovah’s Witnesses and
shares the congregations” believes even though he is not baptized yet. When asked what he
aspires to be his response is a “mad scientist.” Noe wants to become a chemist and is currently
attending East Career & Technical Academy, where he helps students build computers after
school. Noe does not have many friends, when asked why he respond that his classmates are just
‘acquaintances to him. However, Noe does have a younger brother who he sometimes is unfairly
compared to despite that Noe spends most of his time hanging out with his litle brother.
‘Noe’s childhood has been somewhat a rough one, ever since elementary school he has
had behavioral issues at school and has trouble fighting obesity. When he was in the third grade
his parents lost their home during the recession, The move to the new school he was at prove
helpful teachers really motivated him and he was exceling in school. However, that did not last
Jong after his family move the next year Noe began to struggle once again. Afier his second year
at Crestwood Elementary his was issued his first IEP and his parents struggled to get one issued
for fifth and six graded. Once Noe was in middle school his IEP was lost and he begin to struggle

Physical Development
‘According to MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia, Noe has reach the normal stages of puberty
and shows a heathy devilment in his height. Although gaining weight is normal for adolescents
however Noe’s Body Mass Index is in the 97" percentile and is obese. Body Mass Index is a
person's weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters. However for children and
teens, BMI is age- and sex-specific and is often referred to as BMI-for-age. (About, 2016)
Recommendation for Noe are to continue to see his heath care provider and follow their
instructions. Also exercise for at least thirty minutes every day at home and add more vegetables
and fruits to Noe’s diet. Encourage your Noe to get enough sleep and exercise, and to eat
healthy, balanced meals. (Healthy n.d.)

Emotional Development
An adolescence is in a critical stage during their emotional development. During this time
most girls are done physically developing. However, boys might still be maturing physically
during this time. During this time teens are developing their own unique personality and
opinions. This is also an important time to prepare for more independence and responsibility;
‘many teenagers start working after school hours are over. (Teenagers, 2016).
In comparison with Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC), Noe does not
show to have more interest in the opposite sex. When asked he comments, “I do not what a
girlfriend right now.” Noe does go through less conflict with parents however he does not show
more independence, If his mother is not on him about school work and keeping his room clean
those task will not be completed. Noe does not show to have a deeper capacity forcaring and /°
sharing and for developing more intimate relationships, this could be due to the lack of friends.
(Teenagers, 2016) Noe also shows to anger easily and does not seem to understand how to
control his emotions.
Recommendations are: to use positive reinforcements to encouraged Noe to explore new
activates. Parents should show affection and spend time together doing things he enjoys. Create
an opportunity for Noe to show independence from the parents, Possibly see mental health expert
to evaluate Noe’s mental health and anger management, (Teenagers, 2016)Noe Perez PEPSI 6
Philosophical Development
Noe seem to have a since of self and understand why the world around him functions the
way it does. Noe does not fit Kohlberg’s - good boy, nice girl philosophy, he also does not wish
to people please, and has not shifted to peers more than the parent as the social
authority.( Ellsworth, n.d) However, he has started to question his authority around him and
believes he is smarter than his own parents. Noe is capable of reasoning and understanding his
role when he is logically explained what to do. Shows higher understanding in his philosophical
state then most teens. (Cognitive, 2015)
Recommendations are: parents should spend one-on-one time with Noe and get to know
his personal ideologies. Have him join an organization or club that has people with the same
positive ideas he has. (Ellsworth, n.d)Noe Perez PEPSI?
Sovial Development
According to Raising Children Network, with the Centre for Adolescent Health,
adolescents are busy working out who they are and where they ft in the world they are seeking
independence and responsibility and engage in mare risk-taking behavior. (Social, n.)
Noe is not risk taking, however he is taking responsibility for his academics once he saw
his grades drop and was put in academic probation he started to get his grades up and is now
enquiring about summer courses. As stated before Noe does not have much of’ social fife and is
ot terested in peer's opinions or activates, but enjoys helping the students build computers and
robots,

‘Noe’s school grades might not show it but his intelligence is above normal. Noe has
increased thoughts about more global concepts such as justice, history. politics, and patriotism.
He has also developed his own idealistic views on specific topics or concerns. (Cognitive, 2015)
His most current concern today is the elections and how they really should be ran. Like any 6
normal teen his age Noe has very little intolerance of opposing views. He also is working
towards a goal he wants to finish high school to work on his chemistry degree, he states he might
