    Directions: Choose your favorite movie or TV show. Pretend to be a reporter at a


    newspaper in the town/city that your movie or show takes place in and write a news
    story about an event from your movie or show.

    For example: a news story about the girls losing their mind over the burn book in Mean
    Girls, a news story about Harry Potter winning a battle, a news story about Nemo
    getting lost, a news story about Katniss being chosen to fight in the Hunger Games, etc.

    Your story must:


    -Be written like a news story
    -Be written objectively and in the third person point of view
    -Report on something newsworthy from the movie
    -Use the inverted pyramid
    -Use a one-sentence lede correctly
    -Be at least the front of one page
    -Have an interesting headline with a strong verb in it (Harry Potter wins battle!)
