The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) established recruitment and promotion system that is competency-based and characterized by strict observance of the rule of merit and fitness to ensure that the entry and promotion of highly qualified individuals will strengthen the BFP’s human resource capability. 2. Interested and qualified BFP personnel may submit their application to the office of the Recruitment and Selection Section (RSS), Human Resource Management, Directorate for Personnel, BFP-NHQ from 18 0800H May 2016 to 30 1700H May 2016. Application Folder (with tabbing) shall contain the following documentary requirements: a. Application letter indicating the specific position aspired; b. One (1) Handwritten Personal Data Sheet. Entries must be in black ballpen only, not sign pen; c. One (1) Authenticated Copy of Transcript of Records and College Diploma; ‘One (1) Authenticated Copy of Certificate of Eligibility (CSC/PRC); ‘One (1) Photocopy of latest appointment; One (1) Photocopy of service record; Authenticated copy of awards and commendations; Authenticated copy of certificate of training/s (including the certificate/s for sixteen (16) hours of relevant training); Original copy of BFP-NHQ Clearance (IAS and Ombudsman); and j. IPCR (January-June 2015, and July-December 2015). 4, Personnel who have already submitted their documentary requirements during the recently concluded Lateral Entry (January to March 2016) shall only update their Application Letter and IAS Clearance. Those who fail to update their application folder waive their right to be included in final list of qualified applicants. 5, Further, be informed that applicants for lateral entry who are not in the service must not be more than thirty (30) years old, subject to the rules and regulations of the age waiver. Height requirement (at least 1.62m for male; and at least 1.7m for female), subject also to the rules and regulations on the grant of height waiver. 6.
