Executive Summary

Identifying and controlling the industrial hazards is an integral part of workplace safety. Sudden
workplace accidents and injuries can be prevented by training the employees on matters of
industrial safety like material handling, forklift safety, and confined space entry. Handling the
equipment safely is among the key responsibility area of an employee. An untrained employee
can unknowingly be the cause of accidental hazards leading to death, or incur huge loss of
revenue for the company. Hiring new employees who are untrained in industrial safety prompts
the need for an effective training. Ensuring workplace safety and employee health protection by
educating workers on safety hazards and preventive measures to be adopted in plant floor of the
company is the prime objective of the industrial safety training.

The training is intended to maintain a culture of inclusion and awareness about the general
guidelines for workplace safety. The mixed group of recent hires and experienced workers of the
mid-sized company will be familiarized with companys procedures and protective equipment
needed to prevent any accident. The delivery method will be a blended approach. Instructor-Led
training will include the volatile content and the static content will be presented as web-based
training. Application based learning will be imparted through onsite training where learners will
be acquainted with practical simulations.
