1. What are the dissimilarities between service organizations and manufacturing organizations?
Provide at least 5 differences (Minimum of fifteen sentences *answers can be acquired from the
ppt file during the discussion last meeting)

Business organization do have their differences in characteristics, functions and other important
factors that make up their identity. In particular two business organizations will be compared and
identified their dissimilarities. Service organizations by definition are business organizations that
deals with producing intangible product such as ideas assistance or information typically have
high customer contact, therefore it can be analyzed that service organization lay out their
objectives through providing expertise and skills that assist users in every field they are specialized
with or maybe some other objects that doesnt have physical shape in nature examples of this are
utilities such as electricity and water, with this high customer contact is being established that
yields to a successful organizational result of planned activities. On the other side Manufacturing
organization that primarily produce a tangible product and typically have low customer contact,
this is so because the product being offered is not a personal being, meaning that the product
which are things in nature couldnt give the accurate action that the customers would more
appreciate through service employees who talk to them and expressed them the endeavor of the
company. As we tackle the service organization, one of the important aspect that it has is how is
its flow being done. We can see in here that the 1st phase deals with the Consumption Reading in
this phase as the product is being consumed there is a corresponding measure that are being
observed on how the service provided can be fairly accounted for and on what specific amount
does this service has been completed upon. As the 1st phase ceases the commencement of the
2nd phase takes place, this is the Service Billing Statement where in the consumption figures are
then transformed into an amount of money in compensation of what has been used, this amount
is now then printed into statements with certain disclosures that could help customers know how
much was used. Collection phase starts when the date due has to be fulfilled, this phase dictates
that the respective amount upon consumption of service must be redeemed from the customers.
For the collection or 3rd phase to be effective certain punishment will be applicable for
noncompliance with the obligation given to the client, where in disconnection will be faced by
clients in order to show that the company couldnt accommodate a unilateral agreement of itself
doing its own role. As the clause was applied, the only way to get back again to the track was by
having a reconnection where in the failure to comply with respective should be complied together
with some reconnection fee to indemnify inconvenience face by the same host and other clients.
In contrast with the manufacturing organization which involves the transformation of raw
materials (inputs) which will undergo comprehensive process into turning into volumes of
products (output)Thus this phase would start from grow and harvest where in the resources which
are prospective for future earning is being put in investments to produce another products. As
the design and packaging is done the distribution process will give rise, which will be given to
another factory for further modification. As the final modification will end, the well-defined
products will be ready to be distributed to different stores which will be accessible to the end
users. And when the consumers start to buy the end products then earning process will progress.
